The building that houses the Omega Center for Sustainable Living is the first of its kind in the United States to combine the latest in green building and wastewater treatment technologies under one roof. This ambitious and visionary project is already being recognized with it first awards.
On the Boards Award from Greenbuild 2007
At the world's premiere green building conference, Greenbuild 2007, BNIM Architects and Omega Institute were honored as winners of the Greenbuild 2007 Living Building Competition for exemplary planning. The project received the On the Boards Award, which acknowledges a project in design or under construction most likely to meet Living Building performance criteria.
