Five Ancient Yogic Movements of Tibet

The Five Tsa Lung Exercises From the Bön Buddhist Tradition

Registration for this workshop has ended. Go to the Search Workshops page to look for upcoming workshops.

In the rich and ancient Bön Buddhist tradition of Tibet, the five tsa lung exercises bring focus of mind, breath, and physical movement together to purify and open subtle energy channels and centers in the body for healing. Guided by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, we identify our negative patterns without judgment or analysis and clear these patterns using tsa lung exercises. As the negative patterns release, we bring clear attention to the space that opens up within us.

Our meditation together focuses on becoming familiar with this space, the source of infinite positive qualities. Abiding in this openness becomes our best medicine for healing our heart, mind, body, and life.

Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, one of only a few masters of the Bön Dzogchen tradition living in the West, holds a doctorate (geshe) degree, the highest academic degree in Tibetan spiritual practice. He founded the Ligmincha Institute to preserve and introduce to the West the religious teachings and arts of the ancient Tibetan Bön Buddhist tradition. Tenzin Rinpoche is author of Wonders of the Natural Mind; The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep; Healing With Form, Energy, and Light; Tibetan Sound Healing; and Unbounded Wholeness (with Anne Klein). ligmincha.org
